MINUTES BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
October 24, 2007 Rio Blanco County

The Board met at 9:27am in special session in Meeker to address Pioneers Hospital and the Eastern Rio Blanco County Health Service District matters. Chairman Ken Parsons, Commissioner Forrest Nelson, Commissioner Joe Collins, County Coordinator Teresa Anderson, County Attorney Kent Borchard and Clerk to the Board Nancy R. Amick were present for the meeting.

PIONEERS HOSPITAL

County Attorney Kent Borchard presented a resolution, three quit claim deeds and a bill of sale to be signed upon approval of the resolution, explaining the resolution will authorize the transfers and settlement of a loan. The deeds involve transfer of the Tate House, the lower parking lot, and the hospital. The bill of sale involves the personal property in which the county may have an interest. All documents are presented without warranties.

RESOLUTION #2007-40 – TRANSFERS TO EASTERN RBC HEALTH SERVICES DISTRICT

Commissioner Forrest Nelson moved to approve Resolution #2007-40, a resolution approving conveyance of real property, improvements, equipment and chattels to the Eastern Rio Blanco County Health Services District. Commissioner Joe Collins seconded the motion. Roll call vote: Parsons-Aye, Nelson-Aye, Collins-Aye.


With no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was recessed.
