DEPARTMENT FUNCTION
The Vital Records Department is responsible for facilitating the timely and accurate registration of home births and deaths occurring within Rio Blanco County and for protecting the security and confidentiality of the vital records. Certified copies of birth and death records are issued to qualifying individuals upon request.

BIRTH RECORDS (Not avaiable in Rio Blanco County)
FEES
- $17.75 for first copy
- $10.00 for each additional copy of the same record ordered at the same time
Birth records must be appled for at the State Office or COVIS locations.
