The recording department is required to timely record, accurately index, scan or film and preserve all records received.

General Information
All documents are indexed under grantor/grantee names and are not tract indexed. Any document recorded in the real estate records of Rio Blanco County becomes public record, open to public inspection. There is no charge for individuals to search the records.
If you have questions concerning the legality of a document, please consult your attorney before presenting it for recording. Members of the County Clerk's office are not qualified legal advisors and may not give legal advice. Please present documents which are clear and legible for recording.
