County Demographics
Rio Blanco County is located in rural northwestern Colorado. Meeker and Rangely are the two communities located within the County. The climate ranges from semiarid to alpine with significant daily temperature changes. Approximately 75% of county lands are federally owned and include parts of the White River National Forest and the Routt National Forest.
